Cheval Blanc Randheli

Located south of India, Cheval Blanc Randheli is a luxurious island retreat in the Maldives. Guests are treated to private accommodations that inspire relaxation. In an expansion effort to lengthen guest stays, WhiteWater designed and built the aquatic amenities located at Le Carrousel and the surf simulator installed in 2022.

Le Carrousel

Within the resort, Le Carrousel is a tailored amenity designed with children in mind. There’s something for everyone to enjoy with examples including a structured treasure hunt that spans three of the resort’s islands or relaxed free play in the leisure pool.

The main aquatics complex features three distinct zones: a submerged slide exit pool, a submerged leisure pool, and a shallow toddler’s pool. All three spaces are surfaced with Life Floor, including the stairs and pool boundaries, to enhance holistic edge-to-edge safety.

The nearby splash pad features a geometric hexagonal design with gentle Waterplay spray fixtures that engage and excite even the youngest guests. The overall aesthetic complements the surrounding tropical landscape. Soothing blue and turquoise colors give an impression of the clear waters found surrounding the islands themselves to complete the elegant experience.

Throughout Le Carrousel, Life Floor’s ADA compliant Transition Strips are utilized to eliminate trip hazards and improve accessibility. Coping adds additional cushion to the sides of the pool basins while stair treads and risers ensure greater traction as guests flow through each feature.

FlowRider

The surf simulator, powered by FlowRider, allows for a controlled and consistent environment to learn how to surf, practice tricks, and exercise. The walkways entering and exiting the FlowRider are surfaced with Life Floor to complement the design and provide added safety.
